I was super active as a child, tumbling, cheering, you name it, I knew at a very young age how moving my body made me feel not only physically but mentally!
I became hooked on group exercise at age 14 and also found running which made me feel strong and healthy, and ran 2 NYC marathons!
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at age 13 and became very interested in how I could keep my body healthy through movement and good nutrition.
When things seemed so out of control for me, I turned my energy towards what I could do, to help live my healthiest life.
I started teaching group exercise part time after college while working full time in the business world. I always wanted to share and bring that feeling to my students, but never really thought seriously about teaching, then one of my favorite instructors asked me if I would be interested in teaching! WOW, I am forever grateful for that life changing moment!
I love sharing fitness with others, celebrating their victories and joy of fitness, it energizes me and the sky is the limit for what you can accomplish with the right mindset, information, guidance and support. As a mom, I decided to leave full time work to be home with the kids, and focus on teaching fitness, exclusively, which worked better with family life. I added certifications and trainings and gradually made this my full-time focus and could not be happier!
My passion and specialty are working with women of all ages and stages of life in finding a path that works for them. I believe that “fitness” is more than just physical, it is multi-faceted and includes, nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management and more… the non-negotiables that bring us to our best selves and greater health. As a nutrition coach and trainer, I meet clients and students where they are, to develop a plan that fits into their life, and is based on their unique skills and strengths. I believe that anyone can find their inner athlete and that small stackable habits done in a gradual way, keeping the client at the center, will result in a happier, healthier, sustainable lifestyle.
It has been a wonderful journey so far and I am honored to have you here, to help you reach your “fit”ness in a fun and sustainable way!
